Whether you need standard stainless steel and aluminum parts or more challenging metals like titanium, UCT’s Prototype Shop is a full-service resource whose capacity is reserved for rapid response to the R&D design engineer. We understand and support the frequent changes that present themselves at this stage of design and, utilizing our years of experience, we routinely provide early and effective value engineering and design for manufacturability (DFM). This capability is fully backed by the UCT Machine Shop and we smoothly transition your final design and ramp production without the knowledge loss that often occurs when moving to a volume machine shop.

For your products that are already in volume production, we have a new product introduction process which supports smooth transition of production into our facilities. With capabilities in both the U.S. and China, we can support your quality, on time delivery, cycle time and cost requirements in volume production.

Our experience with the Semiconductor, Medical, and Solar equipment industries means that we also manage the special outside processes like cleaning, anodization, passivation, electron beam welding, and vacuum brazing required for your finished component – ensuring the total quality you demand.


Precision plastic parts are critical for operating in aqueous environments in the semiconductor industry. The UCT Chemical Delivery Solutions Division provides manufacturing services which includes advanced precision milling of plastic materials that span HDPE, PP, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, PFA, and FM 4910 approved materials.
