UCT is seeking an experienced and talented Sr. Account Manager to join our team in Hillsboro, OR! The Sr. Account Manager responsible for account management, development, and expansion. This position requires a versatile and driven individual with excellent verbal/written communication skills and tenacious execution of tactical plans. Adept with cross-cultural business relationships and flexible hours dictated by customer availability and international business.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • In support of and cooperation with the Global Account Manager, help translate strategic plans into practical actions that result in maintaining current market share positions and in winning new business to achieve overall growth objectives.
  • Execute the strategic sales/account plan for account, derived from the various product line strategies and the segment sales plan, and realize the yearly sales and account objectives.
  • Responsible for quotations handling and sales agreements negotiations for Regional Accounts.
  • Responsible for leveraging and coordinating efforts for his/her projects at the account level.
  • Responsible for leveraging UCT technical personnel as appropriate to support sales activities.
  • Develop a relationship map of key organizations in the value chain, increasing coverage/ networks within the accounts’ organizations focusing on engineering, technology, operations, and purchasing.
  • Responsible for collecting market information and communicating current and emerging needs for current and new accounts within the segment and region to drive value propositions development.
  • Responsible for communicating, managing sales forecast and other business information on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicate weekly and monthly via written and verbal reports on progress and issues at key accounts with recommendations as to the next steps needed.
  • Maintain frequent contact with all key functional organizations at each customer site that influence the use, application, or commitment to QGT products and services. Ensure QGT is properly positioned to secure next-generation opportunities.
  • Effective at dealing with all levels of management within the customer base.
  • Work directly with key personnel to develop quick response to issues and coordinate feedback and corrective actions to the customers.
  • May attend regular production and other meetings as sales department representative.
  • Ensures post-sales support and ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Develops, updates, and presents sales forecast information, including competitive intelligence and strategic opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Sufficiently demonstrates an understanding of issues relevant to the semiconductor industry and parts cleaning methodologies; broad and thorough understanding of the semiconductor sales cycle; effective and functional knowledge of parts cleaning technologies and processes; proficient and up-to-date knowledge of parts cleaning vendors and customer base, U.S. and abroad.

Educational/Certification Requirement:


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in electrical or chemical engineering/equivalent.
  • Broad industry vertical experience (more than parts cleaning).

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of account management experience in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry and 10+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Background and experience in quality control/management a plus.
  • Strong track record in developing successful long-term relationships at the senior management level.
  • Proven track record in winning new business in complex high technology organizations, networker, and ability to solve problems. Mentality to win and passion to beat the competition. Comfortable working with C-level management.
  • Superb business acumen level.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
  • Win-win negotiation skills.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and different learning styles.
  • Comfortable working multiple projects simultaneously.
