UCT is seeking an experienced and talented Service Product Specialist to join our team in Fremont, CA! The Service Product Specialist is responsible for maintaining and growing UCT’s business relationships and sales with mid-size and smaller accounts for each of the business segments. Maintains and grows assigned or existing accounts while influencing currently assigned clients to gain new and repeat business for UCT services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing long-term, mid-level to low-level relationships at smaller to medium-sized customer accounts across all ChemTrace business segments
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing assigned accounts and when appropriate get sales manager involvement to improve closing probability for securing new opportunity/program/project
  • May include responsibility for customer setups, handling of quotes, contract review, sales order review of assigned accounts, and strategic accounts managed by sales manager adhering to SOX requirements
  • Responsible for successful project management of new programs and projects secured by Sales Manager
  • Responsible for providing sales forecasting for assigned accounts
  • Responds effectively and promptly to client technical questions, pricing, request for sampling kits, and other concerns or complaints
  • Collaborates effectively with other UCT employees to ensure service expectations are met.
  • Acts as liaison between client and UCT business operations.
  • Consistently projects and fosters a highly professional image of UCT at all times
  • Promotes UCT’s quality commitment aimed at exceeding customer expectations

  • Solid understanding and knowledge of general chemistry and analytical instrumentation

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • BS Degree in Chemistry or other related fields, or equivalent directly related experience

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful related sales or customer relationship building experience
