Lead, SAP – BI

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with business users in support and development of UCT’s SAP environment in the Business Intelligence track
  • Primary IT owner of SAP BI solution and related interfaces
  • Evaluate user change requests and translate business to system requirements. Drive best practices and identify areas where SAP solutions can be leveraged.  Process and quality-oriented thinking is necessary.
  • Design, test, implement and support integrations between the SAP and other business applications
  • Determine test cases, and perform unit and integration testing as needed for system changes
  • Create training content and train users on application functionality
  • Participate in data cleansing and migration effort to a new system
  • Provide data analysis on demand to executives and management teams


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Required hands-on experience on ADSO, Composite Provider, Open ODS
  • Required hands-on experience on HANA Native Modelling, ABAP CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Data Procedure)
  • Hands-on SAP ABAP and BW Modelling
  • Good understanding of HANA and SAP security
  • Analyze business requirements, needs, and objectives and map them to SAP BI, solutions and products that are being implemented
  • Knowledge of SAP Analytics on Cloud
  • Cross-functional experience with sales, human resources, finance, or operations.


Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Math, Business, Operations or similar.
  • Professional certifications SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and SAP Business Objects (BO) desired


Experience Requirement:

  • 7+ years of experience on BW/4 HANA ,BW On HANA , HANA Native Modelling , BW
  • One end to end implementation experience is must
  • Experience on Semiconductor or manufacturing industry will be preferred
