UCT is seeking an experienced and talented Sr. Director, Human Resources NA to join our team! The Sr. Director will coordinate the implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; and reports to the SVP of Global HR. The NA HR Sr. Director originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performanceculturethatemphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand UCT strategic priorities and business imperatives and tailor HR solutions to meet needs.
  • Proactively consult with leadership and recommend HR solutions to improve critical business outcomes. Translate current and future business needs into an overall integrated strategic HR plans.
  • Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Management or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • SPHR Certification preferred

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Human Resources or Organizational Development; 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven training skills including standup presentation experience.

Management Experience (for people manager job only):

  • 5+ years leading HR Function/Team.
