UCT is looking for an experienced MarCom, Sr. Manager to join our team in Hayward, CA! This role leads a department tasked with ad campaigns, press releases and the development of other strategic communications. The MarCom, Sr. Manager is responsible for helping drive marketing activities, programs and systems to support strategic direction and organizational objectives. They collaborate with a broad range of corporate support groups (i.e. finance, HR and IT) and operations teams (i.e. engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) to ensure effective messaging and communications to company customers and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manages, develops, and executes marketing communications plans, including content, which supports branding, social media, white papers, trade shows, and website/intranet messaging requirements.
  • Creating and implementing plans to increase brand awareness
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams – from creative, IT and production to product marketing and legal – to produce effective promotional materials
  • Develop & maintain standard customer presentations
  • Creating marketing presentations for stakeholders
  • Oversees product marketing content including sales training, presentations, sales tools, and general sales support.
  • Overseeing market data analysis and evaluation
  • Coordinating with and managing agency partners
  • Tracks metrics and success criteria for marketing programs and activities.
  • Obtaining necessary consent and providing final approval on all marketing collateral, products and promotions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • Understanding of the semiconductor and related industries.
  • Ability develop marketing messages to support both strategic and operational levels.
  • Record of accomplishment of developing marketing and sales materials that support strategic objectives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to support a result driven, team oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage often outsourced marketing activities (PR, corporate identity system, website, etc.)
  • Proven capability in developing marketing collateral from highly technical content.
  • Strong proofing and copy editing capability.

Educational/Certification Requirement:  

  • BA/S in Engineering, Business Administration or Marketing, MBA preferred.

Experience Requirement:  

  • Work Experience: 7+ years marketing experience in comparable industries.
