UCT is seeking an experienced and talented VP, Sales, Major Account to join our team in Hayward, CA!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Headcount management and direct oversight of strategic account initiatives
  • Initiates, establish and maintains long-term, executive level with customers to achieve a “trusted advisor status”
  • Foster, promote and facilitate Global Sales team to meet goals and objectives
  • Collaborates with executives and management team to drive strategic directions and objectives
  • Ability to take charge and drive solutions and manages escalations
  • Achieve financial goals and objectives, drive improvements for overall profitability of account
  • Develop competitive analysis and strategic capability plan to drive growth, including collecting information and communication of current and emerging needs to drive value proposition development
  • Develop new business growth strategies, including technology roadmap alignment and capabilities
  • Communication and reporting to executive management and leadership team through weekly, monthly and/or quarterly meetings
  • Leads major account sales team on strategic and tactical implementation to drive success and satisfaction for customer
  • Recruits experienced Salesperson for functional roles, including training, development and growth plans
  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing, Product Line and Technology team to provide customer feedback on sourcing and technology roadmap alignment and competitive feedback
  • Accountable for input to department budget/expenditures to meet financial goals

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills;
  • Ability to handle complex tasks, critical thinking skills and proven problem solving skills (example 8D, RCCA methodology)
  • Must possess the ability to focus on measurable results while managing multiple tasks
  • Understand Account Management and Account Control
  • Strong sales closing abilities; Demonstrated persistence and tenacity;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills
  • Computer literacy; proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of UCT capabilities and product portfolio, as well as the market players and competitive forces within the industry is essential.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • MBA preferred

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

  • At least 10 years working experience at the Senior Sales, CRM or Account Management level in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry
  • Strong track record in developing successful long-term relationships at the senior management level
  • Extensive experience in managing projects, facilitating Sales organizational effectiveness, and possess solid negotiating skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work in a team environment to ensure customer satisfaction

Management Experience (for people manager job only):

  • 10+ years’ experience managing Sales Managers and other Sales personnel at all levels of the Sales organization.
