UCT performs a competitive bid analysis of all RFQs by submitting parts to a minimum of three external suppliers for a competitive cost analysis. Supplier selection for the products is based on supplier qualifications, on-time delivery performance, supplier quality, and cost. UCT's internal machine shop also bids on new jobs and is judged against the same rigorous supplier selection criteria that our external suppliers are selected from.

Our extensive machining capabilities enhance our ability to meet our customer's product delivery dates by adding a quick turn capability when external suppliers experience delivery issues. UCT's internal machine shop prices are cost based and not market based, which means our prices are stable in ramps and down turns. We also use a time-tested quoting checklist for every quote, making sure we account for any special testing, labor, shipping and tooling requirements.
