Granger, president and chief operating officer since 1999, was elected to the corporation's board of directors at the annual shareholder's meeting in Austin, TX.

Granger joined UCT in April of 1996 as senior vice president of operations and was promoted in 1997 to executive vice president and chief operating officer. In 1999, he assumed his current position of president and COO. Previously, Granger was vice president of media operations for Seagate Technology, and CEO of HMT Technology.
