Clarence GrangerClarence Granger
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Clarence Granger joined the company in 1996 as Executive Vice President of Operations and was named CEO in 2002. He has a broad range of management experience with high technology manufacturing companies.

Prior to UCT, Granger was vice president of media operations for Seagate Technology. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of HMT Technology. Granger received his master's degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University and holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

   

Leonard Mezhvinsky David Savage
President & Chief Operating Officer

David Savage joined UCT in 2008 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He has over 20 years of executive experience driving operational excellence and profitable growth in international, high technology companies by leveraging and enhancing core competencies and expanding market presence.

Before joining Ultra Clean, Savage was CEO Officer of Litel Instruments, Inc., a semiconductor optical metrology business. Prior to Litel, he was the President, Electronics Division of Meggitt USA, Inc. where he led a division focusing on high performance sensors. Prior to Meggitt, he was the founder and CEO of DigMedia, a media delivery business focused on broadband service providers.

Mr. Savage holds a bachelorís degree in metallurgical engineering from Sheffield Hallam University in Sheffield, England. He holds several patents in nuclear and semiconductor packaging materials.

   

Clarence GrangerJack Sexton
Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Before joining Ultra Clean, Sexton was Corporate Controller of Credence Systems Corporation, a manufacturer of test equipment and diagnostics and failure analysis products used for testing semiconductor integrated circuits. Prior to Credence, he was Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of NPTest, where he managed the company's spin off from its parent Schlumberger, its IPO, and subsequent sale to Credence. Prior to NPTest, Sexton was Worldwide Controller for Schlumberger Resource Management Services, (now Actaris Metering Systems). Sexton joined Schlumberger in 1990, prior to which he was a plant operations controller for Texas Instruments.

Jack Sexton holds two Bachelor of Science degrees, in finance and accounting from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

   

Bruce WierBruce Wier
Vice President of Engineering

Bruce Wier is the Vice President of Engineering for Ultra Clean Technology. He joined UCT as the Director of Design Engineering in 1997. He is responsible for all of UCT's design engineering, documentation, and new product design activity.

Bruce is a veteran in the semiconductor capital equipment industry; prior to joining UCT, he was the engineering manager for Lam Research, Oxide Etch Business Unit. His experience also includes engineering management positions at Genus, Varian Associates and Eaton Corporation. Bruce holds a bachelor's degree cum laude in mechanical engineering from Syracuse University.

 

Deborah HaywardDeborah Hayward
Vice President of Sales

Deborah Hayward was named vice president of sales in 2002. Hayward joined UCT in 1995 as a major account manager. She assumed the position of sales director in 1998 and was promoted to senior sales director in January 2001, with responsibility for all sales, field service and customer support activity worldwide.

Prior to UCT, she spent 10 years at Brooks Instruments in customer service management and account management roles.
